Overview
The Black Sea actually forms the eastern border of the country and
is a breathtakingly beautiful coastline of some 378 kilometres
scattered with golden sandy beaches and numerous natural landmarks
including rocky cliffs, shimmering lakes and romantic bays and lagoons.
Situated on a site inhabited as early as the 8th century
BC, Sofia is the second oldest capital city in Europe. Today, it’s a
busy, modern capital, with a rich and colorful nightlife, boasting a
great number of dance and live music clubs, chic cafes, welcoming pubs
and bars.
The largest resort on the northern Black Sea
coast, Golden Sands is one of the pearls of the Bulgarian coast. It has
invigorating mineral waters, warm sea, wonderful beach and the relaxing
deciduous woods nearby. The beach is around 3.5 kilometres long and up
to 100 metres wide and is covered with fine golden sand. One of the
most beautiful resorts on the Black Sea coast, Kavarna has an excellent
location and a wide range of amenities: sports and recreational
facilities, numerous entertainment spots, nightlife in bars and discos,
