Designed by Jorge Santana da Silva, the 18-hole golf course at Palmela Village has been carefully created to blend with its superb natural setting. With his experience and passion, he has produced a course which preserves as much of the natural landscape as possible, whilst of course protecting the environmentally sensitive areas. The welcoming clubhouse features a bar, café and restaurant, showering and changing facilities, as well as a pro shop to serve all your golfing needs.

The developer has put a great emphasis on lifestyle at Palmela Village. Aside from the superb golfing facilities, there is a football pitch with athletics track, tennis courts, a cycle track and a well equipped gymnasium, as well as a supermarket, restaurant, take away, cafeteria and bar, laundry, beauty salon, hairdresser, medical clinic and nursing centre, non-dispensing pharmacy, newsagent, tobacconist and pet shop.

Location

With a long and rich history, the area boasts and abundance of fascinating places worthy of a visit. Medieval castles are a feature of Palmela, Sesimbra and Alcácer do Sal, whilst religious architecture in the area offers fine examples of Manualine, Renaissance and Baroque styles as well as convents including the Covent of Arrábida. Then there’s the fine sandy beaches, hundreds of kilometres along the coast, stretching from Costa da Caparica to Melides, passing through Tróia with extensive sandy beaches and dunes in front of the sea, until you reach Sesimbra and Portinho d’Arrábida.

Payment Terms

€6,000 reservation deposit, 20% on promissory contract, 20% stage payment during the build process and 60% on title deeds.

The management company at the resort handles so much more than average, covering such requirements as reception and club management; preparation of the residence for owners and guests; babysitting; child transport to and from school; gardening – cultivation, cleaning and maintenance; cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools; indoor and outdoor cleaning services; organisation of events; catering; minor interior and exterior repairs (plumbers, electricians, glaziers, locksmiths, etc); hiring of various equipment related to the property (eg, lawnmowers, etc); painting and decorating; laundry and ironing service with collection and delivery; travel bookings; reservations – restaurants, hotels, taxis, cinemas; reservations of holiday homes, golf and other sports at other Pelicano Clubs at special prices; national and international research for holiday camps for your children; rent-a-car service; substitution of locks on request; delivery of emergency medication and information regarding chemists – opening times and on call.
